Flint Fresh, one of our local produce suppliers, has developed a new service to benefit our families through a partnership with Michigan Farm to Family CSA.

Famiies receiving SNAP benefits can purchase a box of fresh local produce at a 75% discount with their EBT Card (Bridge Card) and have it delivered right to their home. This program aims to provide families with improved access to fresh fruits and vegetables, while also supporting farmers and our local food system. It is available now and runs through October 25th.

These Farmer's Choice Veggie Boxes are a weekly selection of the freshest local produce from Michigan farms and costs only $5.00 for a half bushel when purchased with EBT (a $20 value).

Order online at www.flintfresh.com for free delivery in Genesee County or free pickup at the Flint Farmer's Market on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Michigan Farm to Family CSA is a Michigan Fitness Foundation Program funded by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and the State of Michigan.
