She has two married sons and three grandchildren. We asked why she wanted to work in a school and she said, she always wanted to be either a "lunch Lady' or a librarian. When she was a child she remembers them being so good with kids and treating them equally...it brightened her day! Since retiring, she now wants to try and do the same thing for our students."

Linda Hargreaves Cook Aide Linden Middle School Linda Hargreaves moved to Linden 15 years ago and she loves this community. She chose to work in Linden Community Schools because she wanted to be a part of helping the children learn & grow, plus she loves to feed people! She lives on Byram Lake and loves to walk around the lake every day, followed by taking her dog Alise to the park. She also enjoys weaving and macrame. Linda loves to read, especially about history. She loves children and thinks being around kids will help keep her young at heart!

image of woman with text Tori Amos Central Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional Tori Amos enjoys building gardens in the spring & summer, and spending quality time with her family of six. They go on bike rides, travel, have bon fires & beach picnics. Her greatest joy is art; drawing, painting, jewelry, scultping and anything creative! We asked why she chose Linden and she responded, "It's a wonderful school district, close to home, perfect hours for my family and wanting to be involved in the community." She also said she has a special needs child and working in the school will help her gain knowledge and learn more about children and children with special needs. She feels this is her purpose; to work with children, make a difference, learn, grow and have a stable dependable life career. Welcome Mrs. Amos!

Caroline Gase Interventionist Hyatt Elementary Caroline Gase attended U of M Flint and earned a degree in Elementary Education. She chose Linden because she feels a strong sense of community here, she's from Fenton, and she knows this is an excellent district! She is 24 years old and has a cat named Binx. Before she began her career in education, she used to work for an oral surgeon. She enjoys snowboarding and traveling to Florida to visit her dad. She comes from a family of educators; her aunt, uncle and three cousins are teachers in Wisconsin. Her grandmother was an art teacher in Fenton for many years. She's very excited to become a part of the Linden Eagle Team!

Teri Martin Linden & Hyatt Elementary Music Teacher Teri Martin has a Bachelor of Music & Master of Arts in Wind Band Conducting. She knew her future teaching career in eighth grade when she asked her band director if she could do what he did for a career and he said yes. She started teaching privately when she was 18 and has been teaching ever since! Ms. Martin has four children, ages 18-23 and a golden-doodle. She loves all things water, woods and travel. She also loves to cook and learn new things. She said she chose to come to Linden because of the friendly, family environment & The Arts supportive community.

She is married and has four boys. She is originally from Arizona and moved to Michigan six years ago. She misses the sunshine, but said, "you can't beat Michigan summers and getting to enjoy the changing seasons. " We asked why she decided to work in a school and she said, "I love working with children and being able to provide a service within my own community. "

We asked, "Why did you decide to work in education?" His response, "The impact that the educators in my life had on me, inspired me to want to be a part of the future student's educational journey. Teaching allows me to give a love of learning to others." He lives in Fenton and has a dog named Stella. He loves running, music and gaming.

Image of man with text we are please to introduce the newest member of our team...Mike Callard Special Education Paraprofessional Linden High School Mike Callard lives in Linden, is married and has two children who graduated from Linden. He spent 35 years as a UPS driver in the Fenton/Linden area and enjoyed the community relations he built over the years. Since retirement from UPS he had the privilege to work with special needs children & said he is looking forward to working in the schools and helping these students.
